Trish was a featured speaker at Breakfast to Remember in Vancouver on March 6th, 2025
The event raised awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, while supporting the Alzheimer Society of B.C.’s programs, services, and critical research efforts. The Vancouver event was a great success, with the Society reaching its targeted fundraising goals.
It was a wonderful event, and Trish was proud and honoured to support such an important cause. She is especially grateful to the Alzheimer Society of B.C. team, whose dedication and warmth made it a true pleasure to be part of the morning.

WHAT IS FTD: FRONTOTEMPORAL DEMENTIA
Frontotemporal dementia (FTD) or frontotemporal degeneration refers to a group of disorders caused by progressive nerve cell loss in the brain's frontal lobes (the areas behind your forehead) or its temporal lobes (the regions behind your ears).
The nerve cell damage caused by frontotemporal dementia leads to loss of function in these brain regions, which variably cause deterioration in behavior, personality and/or difficulty with producing or comprehending language.
